Words could not do justice to the sheer joy that Rainbow Dash and her friends felt on the day she had finally gotten a letter of approval from the Wonderbolt Academy. It was a dream come true. Congratulations echoed loudly from Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack and Twilight Sparkle almost harmoniously with one another. What made it all the better was the smiling glance Dash had shared with Rarity at that moment from across all of her other ecstatic friends.

Neither of them needed to say a word. It was a moment of mutual acknowledgment that only the two most ambitious ponies amongst the six of them could share.

It was a piece me (Lunatic!) and a friend of mine (Red Dear) did for a Lupin III Fan Anthology. It's a crossover between Lupin III and Legendary Pulp Hero/The World's First Superhero, The Shadow.

The Shadow doesn't belong to me it belongs to Walter B. Gibson.

originally planned to make this into an actual manga story for a fan Lupin III anthology created by

that features different and various artists and writers from Lupin III Forums [link] and DeviantArt to create a Lupin fanfic or fan manga and have it chosen to be in the webcomic/download, but we couldn't get enough people for the deadline. So, we just pushed it back hoping to find new artists and writers to help out. We hope to pick it up soon though.

well.... the original plot was that Lupin tries to break into a musuem that had all of the artifacts that Shadow found and owned (IE his famous costumes and gadgets from the pulps and comics). The musuem was opened in New York City, where The Shadow mysteriously disappeared and the very last place he was seen within 20 years. That's all I remember from the old plot tbh.... I'll try to find more of it one day and tell u more about it. I also remember that the story was a homage to the Lupin III red jacket series (2nd series), the 80's Lupin mangas and the original Shadow franchise including the serials, pulps, comics, novels, movies, and shows. I also made an OC Lupin/Shadow character that was the daughter of The Shadow and the childhood friend/love interest to Daisuke Jigen, Lupin's quickshot partner and best friend
